This includes in home sleepovers for clients who need overnight care, as well as training services beginning in 2026 for families looking to build better habits and stronger bonds with their dogs. Behind the scenes, schedules, routes, and accounts are actively overseen to ensure consistency, safety, and communication across the team. The goal is to provide a calm, reliable experience that feels less like hiring a service and more like having a trusted partner in your dog’s care.

Furever Friends is a great fit for friendly, social dogs who enjoy structured walks and are comfortable navigating city environments with people, traffic, and other dogs nearby. We work best with dogs who are generally easygoing on leash, well mannered during walks, and able to remain calm around everyday distractions. These dogs tend to thrive in our routines and enjoy the consistency and familiarity that come with our service. For the safety of our team and the dogs in our care, Furever Friends may not be the right fit for dogs with a history of aggression toward people or other dogs, dogs with severe reactivity, or dogs who require constant behavioral management while walking. We also are not able to accept geriatric dogs or dogs with significant mobility limitations or serious health conditions, as these situations require specialized or medical care beyond the scope of standard dog walking. Our goal is to provide calm, positive, and structured walks for dogs who truly enjoy the experience, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for everyone involved.

Most dogs are cared for by a primary walker, supported by a small rotation of trusted team members who know your dog, your building, and your preferences. All walkers are trained, vetted, and held to the same expectations around safety, communication, and handling. Walkers do not operate independently or randomly. Every schedule and account is actively overseen to ensure consistency and accountability. Behind the scenes, daily operations are closely monitored by Will, alongside his manager even when he is not physically on route. This allows Furever Friends to maintain quality, communication, and continuity across the entire team. The goal is for every dog to feel comfortable, recognized, and cared for by familiar faces, not passed off to strangers.

For same day walk requests, we ask that you book through the app and send a quick text to our office line so we can confirm availability and coordinate care as quickly as possible. This helps us respond faster while our team is actively out on routes. Communication is monitored throughout the day, and our goal is to keep everything clear and efficient without unnecessary back and forth, so you can feel confident your dog is taken care of even when your day gets busy.

We do not walk dogs in large packs or visit dog parks. We believe dogs are safest and happiest in smaller, controlled walking groups where their individual needs, energy levels, and behaviors can be properly managed. Large packs and dog parks can introduce unpredictable situations, overstimulation, and unnecessary risk. Our walks focus on structured, attentive care in familiar neighborhoods. This allows us to keep dogs calm, engaged, and safe while giving them the attention they deserve.

We take access and home security very seriously. For most clients, we prefer to keep two copies of your key on file to ensure smooth scheduling and coverage when needed. That said, we’re flexible and happy to work with what feels most comfortable for you. We can also accommodate lockboxes, concierge or front desk key pickup, or other secure access arrangements. Walkers are trained on proper building access, lock up procedures, and leaving homes exactly as they were found. Keys, fobs, and access instructions are shared only with team members who need them for scheduled walks, and all accounts are actively overseen to ensure consistency and accountability. Our goal is for you to feel completely comfortable trusting Fetch with both your home and your dog.

Yes, walks still happen in most weather conditions. Rain, cold, and light snow are part of everyday life, and many dogs still enjoy getting outside. Walk lengths and routes may be adjusted based on conditions to keep dogs comfortable and safe. In cases of extreme weather, such as severe storms, dangerous heat, icy conditions, or anything that could pose a safety risk, walks may be shortened, modified, or delayed.
