our story

Upper West Side Dog Walking. Personal. Intentional. Enduring.
Furever Friends was founded by Will Ferman, a canine professional with over 15 years of hands on experience. Raised in New Jersey and shaped by the rhythm of New York City, Will began his career at the School of Visual Arts studying film before leaving when he felt called to work with animals. He became a dog walker in Hoboken and built his foundation one puppy and tail wag at a time.
Over the years, he worked at dog daycares, grooming salons, and with dog trainers, developing a disciplined, structured approach to care. His advocacy work with dog rescues The Sato Project and Muddy Paws further cemented his deep love and passion for dog care work.

Will remained deeply creative. He built a career as a dog photographer and marketing strategist for dog care brands before serving as an assistant to The Dogist. Studying dogs through a lens sharpened his instinct for posture, tension, and subtle shifts in energy. That awareness carries into every walk.
In Hoboken, he built Fetch Hoboken into a respected service known for reliability and high standards. After years of success, expanding felt intentional. The Upper West Side stood out. The brownstones. Riverside Park at golden hour. Central Park. The dog culture. The neighborhood carries the same walkable, community first spirit Hoboken had at its best. A place where dogs are part of the family. Part of the daily rhythm.
Furever Friends was created for that rhythm.Your dog has one walker. A steady presence. A familiar friend who understands their pace and patterns. Someone who shows up consistently and earns trust over time.
Because the strongest care does not feel transactional. It feels like friendship. It feels like family.
Furever Friends.
Your dog’s best friend.

our core values
care + respect

Care and kindness shape how we move. Respect is how we show up; for dogs, clients, and each other.
Our work is personal. We enter homes. We care for living, breathing beings. That calls for patience and awareness. With dogs, it means advocating for their happiness and well being; honoring who they are. With people, it means being kind, considerate and fair.
consistency + reliability

We believe dogs thrive on routine and people thrive on trust. Our job is to remove uncertainty and replace it with stability, harmony and understanding.
We do that by showing up when we say we will, keeping familiar walkers with familiar dogs, and treating every walk as something that matters. Beyond the leash, it’s how we live as well. We aim to follow through, take responsibility, and leave people and places better than we found them.
community

New York City is big. Sprawling. Fast. Anonymous if you let it be. But here on the Upper West Side, we see something different. Tree-lined blocks. Riverside at golden hour. Families, doormen, neighbors who recognize the same dogs passing by each day.
Manhattan is larger than life, but our mission is simple: to build something smaller inside something massive. A dependable circle of care. Familiar faces. Real relationships. Not just dog walkers moving through the city, but a community rooted in trust, friendship, and consistency.
